Pancake Days has arrived – but what are you giving up for Lent

Oh i love today (yes i am on a diet and should not have carbs but hey it’s pancake day)
Pancakes remind me so much of my childhood, my great aunt used to make fantastic pancakes, and she would spend ages chatting with us and letting us help, that it became a great family day. In fact my aunts pancakes are that good that we only used to take serious boyfriends/girlfriends around to taste her pancake if we knew it was a relationship worth keeping. Sounds sad i know but if they didn’t like them, then they where shown the door, but also we hold our aunt in such high regards she is like the queen to us. I have only taken one my husband, he obviously passed the test.
However it means that when the pancakes are it eaten it brings around Lent, 40 days to give something up, i know Lent runs deeper than this but i am just putting it in basics. So it got me thinking, i have to give up carbs because of my PCOS but the one thing i really need to give up is Cadburys Cream Eggs, yes i am addicted and yes i will look like an EGG soon, but it they don’t help me loose weight and they don’t bring me happiness they just burn a hole in my pocket and make me feel sick if i eat too many. So really i am missing nothing.
So as off tomorrow NO MORE CREAM EGGS !!!
