Fatigue can be unbearable

I have been noticing over the last 2 weeks that i am constantly tired, to the point that if i sit down i can just fall asleep. I was told this is part of PCOS, and to be honest it is unbearable. I have done a few test to see if i can find the problem but they all link into one.
I stayed up late one night, and it took 4 nearly 5 days to make up for the time i lost, i also notice that because i was not eating correctly this week, i was more tired than every, but i also found that because i am not exercising as much as i was my sleep is disturbed, i don’t get a good nights sleep and if it often disturbed by some very vivid dreams. I am a light sleeper and every bit i get i do need, so it has been important to find out what is causing my fatigue and strange sleep pattern.
I should have known all along, but i was stupid to not realise that, PCOS is stronger than i first thought. I now know that i have to make sure i do some form of exercise every day, make sure i eat and especially drink the right things each day but most of all, push myself through the fatigue and go to bed on time even if my body/brain does not feel it has too. I have to go against the gain and start about using a structured routine that will help my body regain its energy and well being.
hey just read your post and totally understand where you are coming from, I feel like this most days and as you said if i eat something i shouldn’t it is a thousand times worse. I too am coming to the realisation that PCOS is far bigger than i realised and will take a great deal of personal determination to live in harmony with (as their is no cure this is the realisation). Thanks to you and your website I now have far more knowledge to help me deal with PCOS and I am eternally greatfull for you joining the dots for me FINALLY.. it’s funny and very apt that it was a fellow sufferer that helped me with my mystery illness and with a final diagnosis.. without you I would still be scratching my head wondering why all the time… it all makes sense now and i will explain the outcome of my recent hospital visits later.. i promise (it will take a while so will have to wait for now).. but in brief The Reason I bloat up and react etc to certain foods such as wheat.. was and is due to my PCOS.. this link was never made by any of the specialists..it was not until you said about your condition did the penny drop and i started my own investigations..then armed with all the info went back to the specialist where infact i was told that i was correct and the two things (PCOS and my digestion issues) were infact directly linked and I am not going mad and IT IS NOT IN MY HEAD!!! so as i said already i owe you so much as this could and probably would have continued as a mystery for years without your personal insight and direction.
I hope you keep well and remember you are not alone in this
I will be in touch soon.
Many Thanks

I had chronic fatigue after glandular fever a few years ago so I can completely sympathise with you on this subject. I found the key for me was recognising the signs my body gave me when it was nearly time to stop.
Napping helped me get through tiring days!
