Week 5: 99kg (lost a pound but it does not show on kg)
Week 7: 102kg (oh my god a bad week can really affect me worst of all i ate less than usual)

Height: 5ft 4ins

BMI:      38.6 (Very Obese)
Week 1: 38.1
Week 2: No weigh in
Week 3: 37.8
Week 4: 37.8 (stayed the same)
Week 5: 37.8
Week 7: 38.6

Waist:    45ins
Week 1: 44ins
Week 2: 43ins
Week 3: stayed the same 43ins
Week 4: 43.5ins (bloated due to carbs)
Week 5: 43ins
Week 7: 44ins (i expected more because of the weight i gained)

  1. how old are you? Why have you decided on 60Kg target? when was the last time you weighed in at 60Kgs

    I am 33 and have struggled badly with my weight for 4 years now, the last time i was 60KG and below was just over 4 years ago, nearly 5 and I was always between 54kg and 60kg, but when i look at the pictures of me at 54kg i look thin so i would like to get back to around 60kg because i think that is better for me so i don’t look like a lollipop (excuse the expression. Hope this answers your question.

  5. Keep going Rachael, don’t loose your motivation as long as you weigh less on each weigh day it doesn’t even matter if its just by .5kg as long as it’s downwards towards your goal.

  6. Thanks Rosemary, willpower is difficult, but i think i have found a common ground at the moment, i just hope it lasts. I am quite looking forward to my weigh in on sunday (something i never look forward too) Thanks again

    Go for it with your journey – it will be worth it. I am on the same journey but keep taking wrong turnings…. Just read the amazing adventures of Super diet girl (or similar) – great book about a funny lovable aussie called Shania who lost half her body weight but found so much more. Great read if you’ve not already read it. Hoping to be a ‘loser’ this week…. Hope you are too. Jo

    Thanks for your words of encouragement i had a tough week this week and put on but i am not down about it i know where i went wrong and will make sure i dont go down that road again, or if i do to make a quick U turn.
